Each student chose a novel at their level that interested them and they are reading and keeping summaries and new vocabulary that they find as they are reading. Math: This week we began our work with fractions. Social Studies: This week our class blogger wrote this section of our weekly blog! This week the Students of Room six went back in time to Ancient Greece to learn their government, groups in their society, and everyday life. We were surprised by how far the world has come and how equal we are now rather than in the ancient time’s of Athen’s. We were challenged to pick randomly a part in society and base a character on one of the 3 part in society Slave, Metic and Citizen. We picked Greek names, age, designed them and wrote their backstory. Then later writing a day in the life by writing a journal entry. By; Chloe |
